The Spiral Finned Tube, also known as a Welded Helical Serrated Finned Tube, is a type of enhanced heat transfer component made by welding helical fins to the surface of a base tube. The base tube is typically manufactured from carbon steel, stainless steel, or alloy steel, while the fins are usually made from the same or compatible materials. The fins are helically wound and welded onto the tube’s outer surface to increase heat transfer efficiency in air-cooled heat exchangers, boilers, and industrial radiators.
